Louisiana Students! All race proceeds will benefit LRCE’s educational programs and services that support public, private, parochial and charter school teachers and home school families directly impacting the students of Louisiana.

Invest in Literacy!

Donate a book on race day! All participants are asked to donate a new or used book on race day that will be distributed to area schools.

Galvez Plaza – Downtown Baton Rouge.

* Race starts at the corner of North Blvd. and Fourth Street.

Grand Prize: A trip for two to New York City

All registered participants 18 years or older will be included in a drawing to win a trip for two to New York City. The trip includes airfare and lodging.

Medals of Recognition

The top three female and male finishers in each age group will receive medals of recognition.

Pre-Registration - $20 (deadline February 8, 2008)

Participants that pre-register will receive their packets by mail.

On-Site Registration - $25

7:15 am - 7:45 am day of the race (Feb. 23rd., 2008)

Packets include a t-shirt and race number.
