
The Louisiana Resource Center for Educators (LRCE) is dedicated
to supporting innovation in education for students, teachers,
administrators, higher education and families.
Every child in Louisiana will have an optimal education
experience, regardless of age, race, or ethnic background. This
means every child will have a teacher and school that is equipped to
meet the changing needs of the students both educationally,
emotionally and psychologically.
Teach Louisiana Consortium (TLC)
- To recruit, select, and train
highly qualified and certified teachers for Louisiana
schools.
- To provide professional
development opportunities to Practitioner and/or new
teachers through Learning Teams.
- To observe, mentor, coach and
encourage Practitioner and/or new teachers in the classroom.
Multi-media Lending Library
- To provide access and delivery
of excellent educational resources to educators and parents
throughout Louisiana.
Professional Development
- To provide PreK-12 grade
professional development content training to teachers and
administrators to aide them in achieving the “highly
qualified” status.
- To provide effective training
to teacher candidates to assist them in successfully passing
the national teachers exam.
E-Rate & Distance Learning
- To assist and train applicants
in order to help them continue growing the technology
infrastructure in schools throughout Louisiana.
- To provide teachers and
administrators with the necessary tools to deliver Distance
Learning opportunities to the children of Louisiana.
