assistance through Platoweb, a free
PRAXIS I on-line tutorial, and our
Saturday PRAXIS preparation
workshops.
Platoweb is a free on-line
tutorial that people can utilize
while preparing for the PRAXIS I
PPST Reading, Writing, and Math
exams. LRCE will issue you a
username and password so that you
can access the tutorial.

PRAXIS I and II workshops are
offered on specific Saturdays
throughout the year. Classes are
available to anyone who has a
desire to pass the teacher
certification exam. In order for
a PRAXIS Preparation Workshop to
take place, the LRCE requires
that 10 people are registered.

Develop your reading comprehension skills. Prepare for this test by reading passages and identifying the main ideas and relationships within these writings.

Participants will reveiw the basic mathematical formulas needed to successfully pass this test. In addition, decimal strategies, geometric shapes and simple equations will be covered.

Review the grammatical content and parts of speech within the same sentence to help you understand the underlying word usage techniques within your writing.
